– Key roles and responsibilities of an Event Manager
Module 2: Event Planning and Concept Development (2 hours)
– Steps in event planning
– Creative concept development, Understanding client needs and objectives
– Budgeting and financial management
Module 3: Venue Selection and Management (1 hour)
– Criteria for selecting an event venue
– Negotiating with venue managers, Venue layout and logistics planning
Module 4: Event Marketing and Promotion (2 hours)
– Marketing strategies for events
– Social media and digital marketing techniques, Creating promotional materials and
campaigns, Public relations and media handling
Module 5: Event Operations and Logistics (2 hours)
– On-site event management
– Coordination of logistics (transportation, accommodations, etc.)
– Equipment and technology management. Health and safety considerations
Module 6: Supplier and Vendor Management (1 hour)
